THISARA PERERA WAS THE MAN OF THE MATCH

It was a top performance by Perera that took Hyderabad over the line. Hyderabad kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Most of their batsmen got starts but could not make it count. But Perera was magnificent as he smashed the bowling to all parts for his 32-ball 57. The T&T bowlers were led by Narine who took 4 wickets for 9 nine runs, but he did not get the support at the other end. Hyderabad have got off to a winning start.

 Perera say I think every Sri Lankan will be watching this. I am really proud of the way I played. I got the bowling right as well today. I like to perform on the big stages.
